I created the following slideshow to advertise a mountaineering trip that I am co-leading this summer in the Uinta Mountains in North East Utah. The images are from past trips with Waterford students in the Olympic Mountains. Watching these slides, accompanied by Tom Petty's, Wildflowers, piqued my excitement for the trip. I have no idea how I came to your blog, but I loved the slideshow. I had the privilege of living in Colorado for 3.5 years and loved every minute of it. These photos remind me a lot of the beautiful places I got to see while living in the beautiful state of Colorado. If I had the financial means to do so, I would move back right now, but sadly we had to move back to my home state of Alabama in 2005 to help our son pick up the pieces of his life after his wife left him. I tell everyone my body may be back in Alabama, but my heart is in Colorado! These are gorgeous photos. One of them reminds me very much of Trail Ridge Road in Colorado. Thanks for sharing these gorgeous photos!~
